Anniversary Celebration

This year we decided to have an anniversary celebration with some of our closest friends as most of our anniversaries are not only in August but they are all within a week of each other! The Derouens are August 16, we are August 21 and both the Tolers and the Troy Bonvillians are August 25! We also invited Jaime and Todd to come along since their anniversary is in June.

Jim and I scooped up Ross and Danielle on our way to meet everyone else up in Houston.

We got babysitters set up and headed out for dinner and a night out in Houston. 

Renee and Robert came over to keep the boys for us. We were a little nervous about leaving Wesley since he wasn't 100% great with taking bottles yet. He had a little rough patch but ended up working it out and they had a great night.

They also brought Lily with them and Trey got to play with her and also help train her!

We went to Truluck's for dinner and it was really really yummy!

We had a delicious dinner and spent hours just laughing and toasting and enjoying each others' company.

After dinner, we went to a Hookah bar (per Ross' request). We can now check that off our bucket lists but we all agreed that we don't need to do that again.

We had a great night and were so thankful for Robert and Renee keeping the boys so we didn't worry about them one bit!

I cannot believe we have already been married 5 years although we have been together 8 years in all. I love this man more each day and am so happy to share this life (and our beautiful two boys) with him!
