11 months!

*** I can't believe my baby is less than 2 weeks away from being 1 year old and I am JUST now posting his 11 month post :( ... Safe to say we had quite a busy month. I promise to be more prompt next month! ***

Stats:
  24-ish lbs and 31 1/2  inches long (un-officially)
This puts him in the 50-75% for weight and 75-90% for length.
For a recap here are his stats from birth:

10 months: 23 lbs and 30 1/2 inches long

I know last month I talked about upgrading Trey's car seat  His Nanny kept him a couple weeks ago and felt sorry for him being squished in his own seat so she sent him home with Quinn's old infant seat :) Quinn's is a little bigger and should last him until we upgrade him to his convertible seat. I just got a 20% off coupon for buybuy baby so I am sure we will get his big boy seat very soon!

Hair/Eyes:
His hair is still growing from back to front again and getting thicker. His eyes are no longer blue and have turned to a beautiful green (just like his Grammy's!). I think hope the green eyes are here to stay!

Nicknames:
Big Man, Buddy, Bubba, Bubs, Bud, Baby Trey, Tee Betaille (when he's being one!!)

What He's Wearing:
12 month clothes, size 5 shoes and size 5 diapers. We are excited to start wearing more fall clothes now that it is getting cooler outside!! We recently racked up on some new fall clothes thanks to Nanny sharing her ON fast cash! :) We also recently got some super cute hand-me-downs from the Hoffman's!

Sleep Habits:
Trey has been sleeping really well. Most nights he goes down between 8:30-9:30 and wakes up between 5:30-6:30 when he drinks a bottle then goes back to sleep and I usually have to wake him up to go to Sara's.

He has continued with one long morning (2+ hours!) and one short afternoon (30-45 minutes) nap each day. He is still sleeping in his crib and has a crib at Sara's as well.

What He Eats:

Trey would rather eat than drink milk at this point.
Thank you Auntie Lisa for hooking us up with some formula!!!
He still drinks approx. 15-20 ounces of Similac Soy each day with an additional 18-20 oz of food plus snacks.

This little boy would eat all. day. long. if I let him!

He is a pro at feeding himself and really enjoys to do so. He has really started to show interest in the spoon so we usually let him play with one while he eats. He can sometimes even get food in his mouth! :)

He has mastered eating from these squeeze pouches which as far as I am concerned are a mom's best friend!!

Favorite foods still include mandarin oranges, pancakes, blueberries, yogurt, yogurt melts, cheerios, mixed vegetables, grapes and sweet potatoes.

Daily Routine:
Nothing has really changed here. Our little schedule has been pretty consistent and has worked out well for us.

Personality:

He still loves to laugh and chuckle; loves to be chased and tickled.

He has also started to get tickled while watching his shows and often laughs at the characters in the show or movie.

Trey still loves to play catch and throw balls. He will literally sit on the floor and play catch. He's not too good at catching yet but can actually throw pretty good!

He is still completely obsessed with Lucky. Lucky, however, is not always super thrilled about this :)

He also loves going to our neighborhood park!

They just replaced our old playground with this brand-new one and it's awesome! (Trey agrees!)
Seriously, is there anything cuter than baby thighs?!

Milestones:
Trey took his first steps a couple days shy of his 11 month birthday! He has since been doing lots of practicing but has only gotten up to 3-4 steps at a time (unassisted).

He loves to walk behind his doggie toy or walk holding onto our hands.

Trey also likes to cruise around the living room on furniture and/or walls around the house.

Trey can hold his sippy cup and enjoys formula or water in it during the day. He is getting a lot better at holding it himself. We are going to transition him soon to the sippy during the day and bottles in am and pm before bed.

He will still only hold his bottle on occasion. I can't wait to just get rid of the bottle and transition to sippy cups.

He has started to do really well with independent play time. He will just play in the living room and go from toy to toy. Jim and I just watch him in amazement- he is starting to be such a little toddler and not a baby anymore!

He still has three teeth (two bottom and one on the top). He is working on the left top tooth now and we think it will pop out any day.

What Trey says:
We now have about 8 official words that Trey uses on a daily basis!! Mama, Dada, Baba, Ugh (Lucky), Ah bowl (apple), Hi, Bye and Yeah. He has said a few other words once or twice. He is starting to say Nan for his Nanny! He has also said a few other words a couple of times including Ella, Abby, Gram and Up.

He will also say "hi bud!" appropriately. Usually when waving to us or repeating me saying it.

Anything New:
Trey has started smiling with his little nose crinkled up.

We have also started practicing him brushing his teeth. He LOVES his toothbrush- thank you Nanny!

In addition to all his other tricks, Trey has learned to do "touchdown".

I am convinced this is because we scarred him for life with the "snot sucker", but he can now blow his nose! You just put a kleenex in front of his nose and pinch and tell him to blow and he blows it. It's so super cute!

He has also learned to blow kisses! (Thanks Sara!)

Not really new, but Trey is obsessed with anything electronic!

He loves to FaceTime with our family and LOVES this Elmo App his Nanny has on her phone!

This may have actually happened last month, but we no longer use the shopping cart cover! Trey no longer wants to chew on the handle of the buggy so he just sits in there like a big boy now!

Trey has started to play SO rough. He loves to tackle and wrestle...

...and do anything potentially dangerous...

The not-so-cute stuff:

Many of these issues have sort of resolved themselves over the last month. He still gets upset if you take something away from him but can usually be distracted with another object.

He has learned what "no-no" means and is unfortunately starting to understand "time out".

He has a crazy attraction to Lucky's bed, the doggy door and electrical cords. He is also a feign for a coffee cup- sheesh!

What we did this month:

We visited with Uncle Robert and Renee.

We did two walks: Maddie's Footprints and the Alzheimer's Walk.

Spent some wonderful QT with our families including multiple visits from Grammy, Peet and MawMaw!

Went to the pumpkin patch!

...AND started BIRTHDAY PARTY PLANNING!!!!  I cannot believe we are so close to Trey's first birthday!
