(Apologies up front for the ridiculous amount of photos in this post!!)
Growth Stats:
19 months: 28 lb and 35 inches
20 months: 28.8 lb and 35.5 inches
21 months: 29.6 lb and 36 inches
He is SO tall. He can easily reach into the drawers and pull things out. We have been being extremely careful about leaving him in the kitchen alone!
Hair/Eyes:
Trey got his first haircut at 19 months! He was starting to get a mullet in the back and it was really starting to annoy us! He was such a good boy and did great while the lady cut his hair. She sent us home with a cute little souvenir to keep his lock of hair. He immediately looked like a big boy.
It is really starting to fill in but looks like Eddie Munster in the front!
Green eyes are here to stay!
What He's Wearing:
2T clothes, size 7 shoes and size 5-6 diapers.
Sleep Habits:
Trey has still been sleeping really well. He usually goes to sleep between 8-9 and usually sleeps 10-12 hours every night. We transitioned Trey to his "big boy" toddler bed at 20 months. He has done great with it and hasn't looked back! He got out of bed once or twice the first couple nights but he sleeps with his door shut so he went right back to sleep. He has continued with one long 2-3 hour long nap usually around noon. Trey talks in his sleep just like his mommy! We will hear him crying out "no no no!" or laughing in his sleep many nights.
Sometimes for naps he still wants us to rock him, but these sweet times are few and far between. One night he was exhausted and almost fell asleep at the dinner table! haha!
What He Eats:
Trey still drinks milk in the morning and before bed from a sippy with sometimes another cup of milk during the day. He is obsessed with "drink" which he calls his milk with some carnation instant breakfast mixed in! He started asking to drink his "drink" in "mama and dada's bed, so he does this in the mornings and before bed.
He continues with three meals a day with snacks between. He now has a snack basket in the pantry that he can help himself to whatever snack he wants.
His favorite snack is fruit snacks but somehow he ALWAYS leaves one in the pack!
He loves all fruit and will usually choose that over and over again as a snack.
He is still quite a picky eater but he does eat a variety of things when I really sit down and think about it.
Check out this big boy eating this nectarine all by himself :)
He also gotten back on a yogurt kick, but only wants to eat it on the couch. with his fingers... :(
Favorite foods include: chicken nuggets (still!), mixed vegetables, pasta, green smoothies, fruit, and lentils.
We always offer him some of what we are eating as well and sometimes he will take a bite or two.
Favorite snacks include: fruit snacks, fruit bar popsicles, popcorn, goldfish, homemade smoothies ..oh and french fries "fies!" whenever he sees them.
I also keep "wrises" (Surprises) in my purse at all times. These range from dum dums, to fruit snacks and little toys...we use these as a last resort surprise for grocery shopping trips, or out to eat if he gets crazy.
Daily Routine:
Personality:
He LOVES to "help". He will usually drop whatever he is doing if you tell him you need his help. This sometimes causes more harm than good, but I love his sweet little heart.
His silly little personality is coming out more and more- he loves to laugh and giggle.
He has the SWEETEST smile.
It got too hot to workout outside, so he has been going to the gym with me. He hugs and kisses the ladies in the child care before we leave. (Mrs. Rachel is his favorite!) They greet him with a big "hi trey!!" every time we walk in.
He will also now say "cheese" when he sees the camera or phone come out and he will look right at it to take a picture.
Milestones:
Trey only has one speed- fast. He runs everywhere he goes.
He now has all 16 teeth so now we just have the 2 year old molars to wait on. THANK GOODNESS!

A little before 21 months we transitioned him to his toddler bed. He has been doing great! He already slept on a big bed at his GG's house.

He is a pro at throwing things in trash for us. So far, he only throws trash in there but we have to watch him carefully! Once, after taking motrin, he threw his medicine dropper away.
He is such a good little traveler and errand runner- we are always on the go somewhere and he just goes along for the ride....as long as he is equiped with snacks, drinks, and a movie in the car- he is good to go!

He knows the names of all the animals on his wooden block sets, knows the tune of the "ABC song" and knows some of his abc's as well. He also sings along to some songs on the radio including Katy Perry's "Roar"!

Rara bought him a hula hoop and he is freakishly good at it!

What Trey says:
Trey can say well over 100 words and short phrases.
He can count to five (sometimes) he usually forgets 1 and 4.
He tells Lucky "no no!" if Lucky gets too close to him while he's eating! I keep trying to explain to him that Lucky cannot jump up on his table and get his food but it's taking a while for that to sink in :)
He learned over 40 new words the last three months! Some of my favorites are: John o! :), love you, football, wrise (surprise), remote and theydemote (there is the remote), cockdodo (cock-a-doodle-doo), gumbeaux, Unc T, ipad, wewe (kiwi) and des (yes).
Anything New:
He is also in his big boy toddler bed!
He has quite a lot of paraphernalia when it comes to going "dodo". He has two pillows, a few blankets and no less than 5 babies on any given nap or night!
He started to show interest in the potty again, but I just really don't think he is ready yet. He can tell us "teetee" and "poopoo" but won't tell us before he goes. I am not stressing about it and I figure he will get there when he is ready.
We bought him cool "big boy" underwear which he likes to wear but is less than impressed with them in general.
Jim had to go out of town for a business trip so we told Trey dada was on a plane. That entire week, whenever he would see a plane he would point and say "dada!"
He loves to take the batteries out of the remote and sometimes tells us they are "hiding". Silly guy!
He loves to tumble and flip. I am going to look into putting him in Little Gym when he gets a little older.
I caught him writing on the wall with chalk...at least it wasn't marker (and he hasn't done it since).
He not only asks us for "neigh" rides now but he also likes to ride piggy back!
He got to love on some sweet babies (Eden, Leighton and Hayes) the last three months.
We also spent a day with his "JoJo" and they were so cute playing together.
He spent lots of time of course with his Toler peeps.

Trey spent his last day at his Rara's house and his first couple of days at toddler preschool!
Favorites:
He still loves to read books.
Some of his favorite ones are: anything having to do with Sesame Street and "Where's Spot".

His favorite toys include: his blocks, balls, and choo choo trains.
Favorite outside games include playing with bubbles, swinging, going to the park and swimming.
We have some neighbors with a pretty large garden who sell their produce. We stopped by one morning after leaving the gym. Trey immediately thought they were balls and started picking them up, yelling "ball!" and throwing them. So obviously we bought more than we had planned...
We swam a LOT this summer! He is a pro at "swimming" with his floaties on and jumping in the pool!
We also went out with the Dardenne's on their boat when we were back home, which he LOVED!
We also spent a lot of time outside in his pool in the backyard.
He also still loves all animals and hugs and kisses them every chance he gets!
He LOVES to hold my hand...or maybe I love to hold his :)
We celebrated the start to NFL football season with college following closely behind!!! WHO DAT and Geaux Tigers!
Here's to the next three months little-big man! At your next update you will be TWO!!!
