It's hard to believe we have already been married a year! Funny how time really does fly when you're having fun... We were married on August 21, 2010 in my home town, in the same church my parents were married in 34 years before, surrounded by the people who love us the most, in 100 degree weather, in August, with NO electricity. Yes, you heard right, NO electricity! Here's how it happened... Hair was done, makeup was perfected and my girls had on their beautiful bridesmaid dresses. All that was left, was for me to step into my gown and head off to the church, when it happened... the lights flickered and then went out. I swear, that old bed and breakfast went from 70 degrees to 100 degrees instantly (ok, ok maybe not, but it felt that way!) It never crossed my mind that we could possibly have lost electricity at the church as well, until we got there... Needless to say, it was HOT, but beautiful. I thank God that no one passed out and I apologize for the sweat stains on many of your new suits :( Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. It was the most perfect day and the most perfect way to start our lives together. I am so blessed to have this man in my life! Here is a quick look back at the 4.5 years we've been together and I look forward to many, MANY more.
