Today...

Today I feel...

Silly- when I dance around in my living room like a crazy person just to make my son laugh

Loved- when my husband unexpectedly grabs me in a huge bear hug and kisses me

Surprised-when Trey receives a post-card in the mail from his Great Aunt and Uncle

Happy- when I pick Trey up after a long day of work

Blessed- when I look around at all God has given me

Sad- as I sit here in the quiet of this house since my mom and aunt have left to go back home to Louisiana

Pretty- because even though I was tired, I put on makeup and fixed my hair for work today

Healthy- as I pass up an extra serving of cheesecake and drink some water instead

But today, on a random Monday, I feel HONORED. Honored that my good friend chose us when she decided she wanted to watch a baby instead of returning to work. Honored that everyday she loves and cares for my baby just as I would if I was home with him. Honored that today for no reason, she told me that she loves my son dearly and that brought tears to my eyes. Honored, touched and blessed and I thank God daily for Sara and her family.
