Ok, so I know I said I wasn't going to continue the monthly posts, but Trey did so many cool things right after his birthday, I decided I would continue with monthly updates for now so here goes!!
Hair/Eyes:
His hair is still growing from back to front again and getting thicker. His eyes are no longer blue and have turned to a beautiful green (just like his Grammy's!). Ithink hope the green eyes are here to stay!

Nicknames:
Big Man, Buddy, Bubba, Bubs, Bud, Baby Trey, Tee Betaille (when he's being one!!)

What He's Wearing:
18 or 18-24 month clothes, size 6 shoes and size 5 diapers. One day, all of a sudden, none of his shoes fit, all his shirts were skin-tight and his pants were high-waters. It was crazy! He is growing like a weed.
Sleep Habits:
Trey has been sleeping really well. Most nights he goes down between 8-9 and wakes up between 6-7 when he drinks a bottle then goes back to sleep and I usually have to wake him up to go to Sara's.

We have now started to lay him down awake for naps and for nighttime and he puts himself to sleep (as long as he has his pillow!). His pillow has become his "lovie". He has to have it to sleep, but (so far) is not picky and will sleep with any small pillow he is given. He does have his favorite one though, that his Grammy gave him.

He has continued with one long morning (2+ hours!) and one short afternoon (30-45 minutes) nap each day.
Sometimes he will just pass out right in the middle of whatever is going on... :)

What He Eats:
Trey drinks more milk than our pediatrician would like. :( She said he should be drinking 12-24 ounces of milk but he drinks about 25-30 ounces still. He is eating three meals and snacking between them, so I'm really not worried.
We have also started giving him milk in a sippy during the day to work on transitioning him from the bottle to sippy cups. He prefers milk from a bottle, but will also drink it from a sippy.
We went through a little regression with meals when he was cutting all those teeth at one time. He wouldn't eat anything hard because it hurt his little gums. We had to become pretty creative with his meals.
He now eats off a bowl or plate without throwing it on the ground- epic win!!!
Favorite foods still include mandarin oranges, pancakes, blueberries, blackberries, yogurt, cheerios, mixed vegetables, grapes, any kind of soup, and cheetos :) (thanks to his Nanny!!).
Daily Routine:
Nothing has really changed here. Our little schedule has been pretty consistent and has worked out well for us.
Trey still loves bath time! He has started to get upset with us when we take him out and he is not ready. He recently got some really cool bath toys!

After bath time, we brush teeth and Trey gets his PJ's on before a final bottle before bed. He LOVES brushing his teeth and is actually pretty good at it when he does it himself!!

Personality:
Trey is very ticklish and loves to be tickled. He plays rough and loves to tackle! He laughs a lot and smiles really big, showing off all his teeth!
He has this SUPER exaggerated gasp he does when he gets really really excited. I have been trying to get a good video of him doing it.
He is addicted to the iPad because he knows it means FaceTime with Grammy or Peet. He freaks out when he sees it and gets SO excited!
He still loves to kiss and hug!
...and get kissies from cute little girls too :)
He LOVES to explore, especially when we are somewhere new.
He also loves having his head rubbed (and it usually puts him right to sleep!).
Milestones:
Trey has mastered his sippy cup and continues to hold his bottle or sippy to drink out of. This makes riding in the car so much easier as he can get his cup from his cup holder if he needs a drink.

He now has 8 teeth!!! (Four on the top and four on the bottom). He is currently working on at least one more at the moment.| He is still working on learning to use a spoon and fork. |
What Trey says:
Trey has added quite a few words lately. Mama, Dada, Baba, Uhcky, Ah bowl (apple), Hi, Bye, Yeah, Dog and Dat (cat), Papa, ugh oh, tree, light, huh?. He now says "huh?" to us when he doesn't hear what we say-too cute!
Lately, he has been all about his "dada". It is most definitely his word of choice. I have not heard "mama" in about a month!

Anything New:
We turned Trey forward facing in his seat right before our trip home to Louisiana for Christmas.

It took him a couple car rides to get used to the new angle of his seat as he isn't as reclined as he was before so it was harder for him to get comfy to go to sleep, but he has now figured it out and is able to nap in the car again.
Trey has also started to really enjoy playing independently...especially with his new toys he got for his birthday!

He is obsessed with every dog he sees. He will literally have a meltdown if he sees one and cannot go pet it. He yells "DOG DOG DOG" at them when he sees them. He loves to give them kisses and pet them.

He has no fear and loves them all- big or small.

He loves to "help" with whatever I am doing... organizing, cooking, cleaning (especially sweeping!!!), addressing Christmas cards, whatever. He wants to be right there in the action. Sometimes this is difficult for me to be productive, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

He has started to color when we got out to eat.

He has mastered the "selfie"....at 13 months old! lol!!

Trey has stared to climb on things....oh the joys of little boys...

He loves to sit in his chair and watch TV or have a snack.

He ALWAYS has his little legs crossed. My MIL recently told me that Trey's PawPaw always sat like that. I think that is too cute. :)

He now shakes his head "no", has started to dance including going down low and shaking his booty.
Trey can also do minor tasks when asked like "can you go get that book and bring it to mama?" or "can you get your toy from under the couch?". This is AMAZING to me.

The not-so-cute stuff:
He still throws temper tantrums on occasion including throwing himself down on the floor when he doesn't get his way. He also will bang his head on things when he gets mad or upset- it's really not cute, especially when he does it on something hard like the floor or the walls. I usually try to ignore him hoping he will grow out of this soon...

What we did this month:
We met baby Cullen McConnell!!

Walked down and looked at Christmas lights EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!! But made a lot of memories in the process!

We spent a lot of time outside, which Trey loves. Outside is his favorite place to be!

We celebrated Christmas with a week-long celebration back home. Stay tuned for a Christmas recap very soon!!

He does love animals- I love how he calls the neighbor's small dog a dat! It is a joy to watch him grow and develop new skills. I love you all
Love this! It was so fun to actually MEET Trey at Christmas. What a sweetheart. Has he gotten even faster than he was on the 26th? He was moving pretty quickly!!
