LOVEly Weekend

I hope y'all all had a great weekend and that all the mamas out there had a wonderful Mother's Day!

I had a great time celebrating Mothers Day with my favorite guys!

Our weekend started off a little early with Daddy being off Thursday. We went for a little run in South Shore and had a little hangout time at the park, along with some errand-running.

Friday, I had to work so Trey went to Sara's so Jim could get busy with organizing the garage.

Saturday morning Daddy went and got us donuts then we headed to the Bayou Wildlife Zoo in Alvin.

If you know anything about my child you know his extreme love of animals. He loves ALL animals and will gladly hug and kiss any animal that gets close enough to him! Because of this, we just knew how much he would love this zoo- especially because you get to interact so much with the animals!

We got there a little after 10, soon after they opened. As you drive into the Zoo, animals come and meet your car and you can feed them from your car.

One little guy in particular LOVED this and kept laughing and pointing at all the animals as we made our way through the park.

While we waited to board the tram, we walked around and fed the deer. Y'all can guess who was also supa-pumped about this!

We also went and looked at the giraffes. Trey was too interested in all the animals running around in the petting zoo to cooperate for a picture by the giraffes!

He loved the petting zoo and thought the goats were all so funny as they nipped at our clothes wanting us to feed them.

After washing our hands ;) we boarded the tram for our ride around the park.

Trey LOVED all the animals and would get so excited when they would come up to the tram to get food.

He kept waving to them all- be still my heart.

He was especially amused at the camels as one of them tried to eat one of the other passengers hats!

We saw lots of cool animals including zebras, giraffes, deer, ox, alligators, ducks and even a rhino!

Trey also got to ride a pony before we left, so he was totally in little boy heaven.

He had a melt down when he had to get off  the pony and was asleep in his seat before we got out of the gates of the zoo!

Saturday afternoon we spent a lot of quality time....and did a lot of wrestling- Trey's absolute FAVORITE thing!

Sunday I got to sleep in, had coffee made for me and got super sweet Mother's Day cards and gift cards to go spoil and pamper myself!!!

After breakfast we headed to mass. I wanted to go have lunch at Abe's Cajun Market. Trey got really sleepy in mass and ended up taking a nap soon after we got home, so Daddy went to get us lunch to-go from Abe's. It was SOOOO good and so much food that we ended up having leftovers for supper!

Our neighbors brought over some beautiful flowers from a cooking competition they do every year.

We spent our afternoon playing and Trey became obsessed with the hose pipe (hose pipe, right Grammy?? :))  in the backyard.

He was really into helping Daddy water the plants and LOVED it when Jim would spray him with the hose.

Jim showed him how to drink from the hose pipe as well and I'm pretty sure we created a monster.

Even after he was soaked from head to toe and the flowers were well-watered, Trey was not quite done yet. :)

We wrapped up our evening with a little fro-yo. Trey was not super excited about my choice of frozen yogurt, but he really liked eating ALL my kiwis out of my yogurt- happy mothers day to me... :)

All in all, we had a fantastic weekend and I had so much fun spending time with my guys (big and small).

I am so blessed to have them in my life.

I cannot wait to spend many many more Mother's Days getting spoiled by these guys!

Not to mention I am heading out tomorrow afternoon to redeem one of my two massages and foot scrubs I got for Mother's Day- holla!
