Growth Stats:
26 lbs (on our home scale) and 32 1/2 (ish) inches long
Hair/Eyes:
His hair is still growing from back to front again and getting thicker. Although he is getting more hair, it is lighter than I thought it would be. His hair is getting really long in the back; starting to look like a mullet. I think he may need a trim before he gets a real haircut! His eyes are still hazel/green just like his GG's!

Nicknames:
Bubba, Bud, Baby Trey
Bubba, Bud, Baby Trey
What He's Wearing:
Still 18 or 18-24 month clothes, size 6 shoes and size 5 diapers.
Sleep Habits:
Trey has still been sleeping really well. He has moved his bedtime up a bit to between 7:30 and 8 pm and usually sleeps 11-12+ hours every night.

We have continued to lay him down awake for naps and for nighttime and he puts himself to sleep (as long as he has his pillow!)

Lately he has liked to be rocked for naps, which we don't mind at all :)

He has continued with one long morning (2+ hours!) nap. Most days he only naps once...and every once in a while we take advantage of nap time and snuggle up with him!

One night he was playing in the living room and got really quiet. When we looked over, he was asleep on the floor! I guess he had a busy day!

What He Eats:
Trey still drinks milk in the morning and before bed from a sippy with sometimes another cup of milk during the day.
He continues with three meals a day with snacks between.
We have started making smoothies and he LOVES them- especially green ones with all sorts of yummy fruits and vegetables in them!
He also loves and Danimals smoothies and can drink those, squeeze pouches and capri suns now without assistance.
Daily Routine:
Nothing has really changed here. Our little schedule has been pretty consistent and has worked out well for us.
Our evening routine still consists of a bath, teeth brushing, pj's and then sippy of milk before bed.

He LOVES to brush his teeth. If he sees his toothbrush, he will want to brush his teeth, no matter what time of the day it is. I gladly let him... I know he won't be this way forever...

Personality:
He has also still been hitting his head on things when he gets frustrated but it is now few and far between. We have started putting him in time out when he misbehaves. It works well for him...he immediately cries when we sit him down but then he sits there until we tell him to get up...pitiful but at least it works.

Even with his strong personality he is still a silly little guy and more often than not he is happy, smiling and laughing.

He loves to be tickled, chased and loves to wrestle!

He has the sweetest heart. He LOVES all animals. Any animal he sees, he wants to hug and kiss it.

Milestones:
Trey only has one speed- fast. He runs everywhere he goes.
| He is still working on learning to use a spoon but is pretty good and consistent with using a fork. |
He is still doing well with independent play time. Favorite toys include: his play kitchen, blocks, anything he can load and unload, anything Mickey Mouse and choo-choo trains.
He still consistently prefers his left hand over his right. Maybe we will have a leftie??
What Trey says:
He is still repeating much of what he hears.
He knows that "two" comes after "one" and likes to help us count.
His little vocabulary is still exploding! He is saying more two-word phrases: "theyis" (there it/he/she is), "skit come" (to call the cat), "get down", "sit down", "whats that", "bless you".
He is also using "no" appropriately (most of the time) to let us know when he doesn't want something.
He can easily identify Mama, Dada, GG, Puh, Nan, Adelle or sometimes "Dell", Sara, Ella, and Sadie by name and says those names quite frequently during the day.
Anything New:
Trey can now climb onto the chairs, ottoman and couch with no assistance. He also can get off all those and also the bed without assistance. We also found him here one day...scary!

He has still been practicing sitting at his big boy table and the big table for meals. He eats breakfast there daily and usually either lunch or dinner as well.

Trey is still showing some interest in the potty! I let him sit on it from time to time but I don't think we are quite ready for potty training yet. I bought him a little potty, undies and a potty book and will probably be introducing these things within the next month.
He loves to show us where body parts are (head, tongue, teeth, ears, nose, mouth, belly buttons).

He can see something once and then do it. Newest things include blowing on foods to cool them off before eating them, getting the mail (he even knows which mailbox is ours!), cleaning things, wiping his face/nose and picking up toys.
He loves to help us do things around the house. Sometimes that means it takes us 10x longer to do things but it's too cute to not let him help :)

He got his first skinned knees this month. He fell on the sidewalk outside of Sara's house when were over there one weekend. He also always has bruises all over his legs...true little boy in ever sense of the word!

He has also learned to go in and out of the doggie door.... we do not encourage this, however!
He still loves to read books. Some of his favorite ones are: My Family book, My First Words Book, and all his Elmo and Thomas books.

His favorite toys include: his blocks and duplos, busy board, balls, choo choo trains and sorting boxes.

What we did this month:
We went home for a visit which included visits with the Hoffmans and Marinos to celebrate Grady's birthday.

We dyed Easter eggs at Nae Nae's house with some of my high school friends.

We hung out with the Bonvillains for an afternoon and let the kiddos play. It was so great to see them play together. They are too cute.

Trey got to spend some quality time on the Island and really had fun running all around in Puh's yard.

Trey, GG and I went to Lafayette and met Leighton Rose on the day she was born...so sweet!!

We traveled to Atlanta for Colleen and Chris' wedding!

We went to a fish fry at Troy and Sara's and we celebrated Reed's birthday with a party at Jumpin Jungle.
We had an entire Easter Eggstravaganza weekend! Trey enjoyed getting Easter sussies in the mail from Aunt Angel and Sara and Uncle Karl and Aunt Sharon!

We celebrated GG's birthday early when she was here with cupcakes!

We had a fun little afternoon play date with Dellie!

We started going to Toddler Story Time and Preschoolers at Play at our library and Trey loves it!

We spent an amazing weekend this weekend with Daddy home all weekend with us and beautiful weather!

We continue to FaceTime with our family and friends back home. I think it's important for Trey to know and love them all even though we are far away. He always hugs and kisses the iPad...sha baby.

I cannot believe my baby is so close to being 1.5 years old! Sweet boy... Loving every single second with this little ball of energy.
