4th Anniversary

Jim and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on August 21st. This year it landed on a Thursday and we actually both had to work that day, so we celebrated with a little dinner out that night.

Trey went to spend the evening with his Toler couzans and Jim and I headed out to Opus in Clear Lake Shores.

We had a glass of wine at the bar then headed over to our table 7 which is what time we had made our reservations for. We had a great night laughing and enjoying the delish food. We both had steaks and we also had bananas foster for dessert. 

We picked up our little booger man who was all smiles after hanging out with some of his favorite people.

We were showered with lovely cards, phone calls and texts from our family and friends. Mrs. Mildred sent us these beautiful flowers and we got a gift card for the Houston Garden Center from GG and Puh. 

Jim surprised me at work with these GORGEOUS flowers including my all-time favorites...star gazer lilies and white roses. I was SHOCKED because Jim does not normally give me flowers so it made it even more special!

I made him this edible arrangement that was such a labor of love but turned out great and was the perfect little nap-time activity. 

We were not able to put our 4th tick-mark on the barn door on the island, so Puh did it for us and sent us a pic :)
