We always celebrate O'Meara Christmas the day after Christmas, so we woke up and had breakfast then headed to Mandeville. It was really great to see everyone and Trey had so much fun opening his gifts.

We all take turns wearing Grandpa's "Christmas Vest". This year was Sean's turn and he did a great job. "Grandpa" has to be on trash patrol during the opening of gifts.

He had even more fun helping his Lay Lay open hers. He is just SO sweet with her- it melts my heart and makes me look forward to him being a big brother this summer.
We had a great time visiting and laughing until it got late and we remembered we still had 2 hours to drive to get home!

On the way out, Uncle Johnny let Trey sit on his bike! Trey wasn't too sure of it, I think he was a little scared or confused as to what it was but he was sure to leave LOTS of sticky fingerprints on there for Uncle Johnny as a parting gift :)
Here is our annual O'Meara Family Christmas photo! Right when Katherine had the camera all set up to take the pictures, Trey took off running. This first picture is everyone's reaction which is pretty funny!

Saturday we didn't have any plans which was really nice. We hung out and laid low and by this point Trey had a terrible cough from being out in all the cold weather so it was nice to not have any plans. Jim and I went out and did a little shopping during Trey's nap, but that was about it.
We hung out and played with Trey's toys which was really fun! GG and Daddy got a little crazy with the big truck so Trey and I watched from the safety of the couch!
Saturday night we headed to Jeremy and Jessica LaCombe's house to visit with some of our old friends from high school (me) and college (Jim). Most of the guys I grew up with then they became Jim's fraternity brothers in college so its cool how well we know all of them! We had a good (kid-free) time laughing and telling stories until way past our bedtime!
Sunday, Angel came over to visit while we packed up our stuff. Trey helped us pack the car but he was not happy to be leaving... We headed out about 10 am and were able to get home at a decent time.
We had an AMAZING visit home for Christmas and although we were ready to be back to our house our hearts weren't ready to leave yet.
Looking forward to our next visit already!

The family picture- everyone so carefully placed, smiling at the camera, then in a flash Trey was out of the picture! Toddlers make life delightful! I love you all
