O'Meara Weekend

Sarrie, Aunt Shea and Leighton came to visit and spent an entire weekend with us this summer! It had been a while since Sarrie had been to our house and they also wanted to go visit Robert and Renee so it worked out perfectly for them to visit both of us in one trip!

Trey was so excited about them coming to visit that Thursday he did not nap. 

Uncle Robert and Nae Nae came over for supper and we had a good time visiting. After their bath, Trey passed out on Jim's lap- he didn't even get dressed or out of his towel before he passed right out!

Friday, we just hung out and let the kiddos play. We had to run by my work real quick so we did that in the afternoon while Leighton napped. 

Sarrie got in some good uninterrupted snuggles with baby Wes.

And I got in some good snuggles with this cutie pie!

Saturday morning, we got up and had breakfast and then we planned on going to the Children's Museum. Sarrie was loading up their car and Leighton ran out after her in her diaper- so cute!

The kids explored and Trey taught Laylay all about the doggie door!

Well 1 out of 3 smiling isn't too bad I guess! :)

When we got to the Chilren's Museum, it was packed! It was so packed that the line wrapped around the side of the building twice! We had failed to remember that it was one of the last weekends before summer so everyone was trying to squeeze in fun times. 

So, instead of waiting in that line, we decided to scratch that idea and go to the downtown Aquarium instead. We had a really really good lunch and the kiddos loved watching the fist swim by while we ate.

Trey wanted to ride the train so badly, it was really hard to get him to stand in the line!

We brought Wesley's fan but it was still pretty hot out there.

We had to entertain ourselves while we waiting on our turn to ride on the train.

Finally our turn!!! Choo Choo! Even though Trey doesn't look very excited he really loved the train ride.

After the train ride, Jim and Robert took Trey and Leighton on the carousel. Leighton rode on a dolphin and Trey chose an alligator (chomp chomp!!)

We had such a great weekend spending time with our family! We are really loving having Robert and Renee so close by.
