Dallas Trip

In Sept, we spent a weekend with the Brooks family at their house in Grapevine. We headed out after lunch on a Friday afternoon, so we did not end up hitting any traffic at all and had a smooth ride in. We stopped once for Wesley to eat and had a great little road trip.

The Tolers arrived shortly after we did and the kids had so much fun playing while the adults spent the evening catching up as well.

Saturday morning, we woke up to pouring rain, but headed out to Grapefest anyway. We hung out for about an hour and a half under a huge tent while we waited for the rain to stop.

I really thought at one point Trey was going to fall asleep laying like this on Jim, but he pushed through it and held on :)

We occupied the kiddos with snacks and the adults with beer and we actually had fun even though it was getting quite humid from all the rain.

A Christian kid band started playing and the kids loved the music; especially Trey. He was really jamming out and dancing.

After the rain stopped, we made a bee-line to all the rides and games to get in some fun before we had to head back to the house to watch the game.

Saturday evening, we relaxed and watched the LSU game. These two in particular relaxed a lot :)

Sunday, we geared up in our Saints shirts and had breakfast before hitting the road to head home.

The boys were great once again in the car. Trey ate his weight in snacks and candy and Wes pretty much slept until we got to Kemah when he woke up and gave me this awesome bahbin. :)

Thank you to the Brooks family for having us! We had a great time (as always!!!) when we hang out with ya'll!
