Maddie's Footprints 2014

2014 marks the 5th anniversary of the creation of the wonderful organization that is Maddie's Footprints. It makes my heart sad that we are familiar with this organization because that means our family has suffered a tremendous loss. (When my cousin Sarah carried to term then lost Baby Braxton) However, when I heard this year that Maddies' Footprints has donated over $250,000 in just 5 years to families in need...WOW...that made my heart smile!

Such a great organization and our family never fails to come out in full force to support them each year! This year our team's theme was Ragin Cajuns and we painted River Ranch Red! Braxton was on our shirts as our MVA (Most Valuable Angel). The theme was too cute!

Trey had fun hanging out with GG before the race!

He really had fun with all the "extras" Aunt Sarrie had for us to use during the walk! (Even if it was a pompom...)

He spotted the snowball truck right before the start of the 5k, so I had to run to get him one before we started!

This year, along the walk there were signs with each team. We found Braxton's! (Darn sun was too bright though).

We all took turns pulling the wagon.

My sis and I after the walk :)

Trey really enjoyed the oranges and kept asking for more!

After the walk, we all met up for our annual picnic. Sweet Leighton had fun crawling around in the grass.

After the picnic we headed home and the kiddos slept for 3.5 hours! When they woke up they were ready for some fun, so we loaded them up in the wagon and walked down to feed the ducks at the front of the subdivision.

Rebecca and Savannah came to meet us and the kiddos had fun pushing "Uncle B" in the little car!

Leighton got hungry and had her first squeeze pouch!

Uncle B showed Trey the ducks.

They tried to catch some fish but that didn't work out too well...

Aunt Sarrie helped Trey feed the ducks our left over fries from the picnic and he had so much fun watching them eat!

Trey and Savannah loved watching Baby Leighton "Lay Lay" get her bath!

Trey slept like a champ on his pallet we made for him.

Trey and "Lay Lay" had fun playing Sunday morning. He was so sweet to her.

He was a big helper for Aunt Sarrie too!

We woke up Sunday morning and visited some more, had breakfast and got on the road. We had a great weekend visiting and were sad to leave!
