Sunny Days, Sweepin' The Clouds Away

On October 24, we took Trey to see Sesame Street Live in Lafayette.

The boy has loved all things Sesame Street since before I can remember but really in this last year his love has grown so much.

He loves all the characters and I really cannot say he has a favorite at this time. He used to really love Ernie and Elmo but he loves Grover, Cookie Monster, Telly and Abby so much too- its hard to pick just one! I guess Daddy's favorite is Grover and GG loves Telly though :)

Anyway, Uncle John O hooked us up with Meet and Greet passes and front row tickets!

I'm really glad we went to Lafayette instead of trying to go here in Houston, because it was much less crowded! There were only about 10-15 kiddos in the meet and greet so it was perfect.

Trey didn't want to get too close to the characters but he was fine as long as one of us was holding him.

He got to take photos with the characters and then even got to color with Elmo!

Soon, it was show-time! Trey was fixed up with an Elmo toy, popcorn and a snowball and we got ready to watch the show.

It was such a great show!

Since we were in the first row, Trey was able to get up and walk around and dance during the show, which he loved!

During the intermission, Trey talked GG into getting him a balloon. It honestly didn't take too much convincing...

During one part of the show, Cookie Monster came down the stairs. Trey was waving and screaming at him and Cookie saw Trey and pointed to him. It pretty much made his day :) sha baby!

The show was the perfect length to keep little kid's attention. Trey didn't get bored at all and really liked it.

He spent some of the time sitting on our laps and he also sat alone for some of the show as well.

He really enjoyed the popcorn... :)

During the last song, they threw out big balls for everyone to play with!

We really enjoyed the show but loved watching Trey even more. His little face kept lighting up over and over again. It was precious. He fell asleep on the way back to GG's house, poor baby was exhausted after his big morning!

What a fun morning at the Cajundome! I don't know what was better-the show or watching Trey enjoy the show! I love you all
