The past few years we've been attending the first LSU game of the season and it has been SO much fun. Our love of attending this game started in Seattle when we played Washington. Since then, we've been to Dallas twice to watch LSU take on Oregon and most recently TCU.
This year, the first game was here in Houston- oh yeah! against Wisconsin so of course we were all over that.
We got the grandparents lined up to babysit, had friends come in from out of town and rented a big party bus to drive us all around.
We had a blast and best part- LSU came out with a big W!
First stop- Turtle Club for bushwackers!
Next stop was Luckys. It was pretty packed but we stayed there a while and had fun watching the football games on all the big screens.
Outside of Lucky's we found this spot and decided to use it for a photo shoot :) lol!
Back on the bus we headed to the stadium to do some tailgating before the game!
We had great seats!
It was a nail-biter for sure, but the our Tigers came out victorious!
There were so many LSU fans it looked like a home game leaving the stadium.
We had a great time. Next year we play McNeese in Death Valley...doesn't sound too thrilling...we may wait until 2016 when we play Wisconsin again in Lambeau Field!
