We traveled to Florida to celebrate Christmas with the Jacobs since MawMaw recently had surgery so she would not be able to travel.
We left on a Thursday night and stopped in New Roads to spend the night at GG's (halfway).
We woke up Friday morning, ate breakfast and got on the road.
Trey did great in the car (as usual) but he did get sick and we had to pull over to change all his clothes and clean his seat :( I'm really hoping he was just really full and he is not starting to get carsick...
We arrived in Fort Walton Beach around 4 pm. We got a quick tour of their house and had some coffee while we visited and Trey began to explore.
MawMaw had made us her famous spaghetti so we had an early dinner then we had birthday cake to celebrate Maw Maw's birthday!

After a quick bath for Trey, we opened gifts!!

Of course, this was Trey's favorite part!
We all got some really nice things but T really racked up!
He got a homemade gun (which we are working on having him NOT point at people...)

...and a power wheel truck which was the highlight of his night!

Aunt Jutta and Daddy taught him how to ride it in the back yard.
We are still working on steering...

Baby Kermie also got some gifts!

Saturday morning Trey was up bright and early, so we hung out in the living room for a bit before everyone else woke up :)

Saturday we woke up, had breakfast and headed out to sight-see! MawMaw rode in the backseat with Trey.
First, we headed to the Air Force Armament Museum. It was really cool!

They had so many different types of planes, helicopters, bombers; pretty much any type of plane.

There was also an inside part with guns, more planes, uniforms and details of specific missions. It was super cool! I know Boo was smiling down on us for sure! :)

When we left here we headed to the beach!

We found a nice public beach entrance and Trey had an absolute blast playing in the sand with Aunt Jutta and playing in the water.

It was a nice day and we all got quite warm being out there- there were some people laying out in swim suits!
The water was super calm- almost NO waves. It was perfect.

Trey loved the water and even got too brave and fell in/jumped in at the end. He was so tired he passed out in the car on the way home.

Saturday night we decorated a gingerbread house and just hung out before we headed home on Sunday.

Before we headed home on Sunday, we took a few family pics. Trey got hold of the remote and had a blast!

Trey was asleep before we were even 10 minutes down the road!
We tried to hold our breaths in the tunnel, but none of us could last the whole way through!
When we got back to God's country, we stopped at CC's (DUH!) and even Trey got some "coppee" (smoothie).
We spent the night, picked up brother and headed back to Texas Monday.
We had a great trip, but that is a really really long drive (especially with a pregnant mommy and a toddler!). We were really glad we got to spend some time with the Jacobs!!
