Insta-Friday

HAPPY FRIDAY y'all! I, for one, am SO glad it's Friday. Not only does that mean I get two glorious days off to do whatever I please, I am also going to see the Hunger Games tonight and we get to go to a long-time-coming wedding on Saturday night- woohoo!

Before I leave you with my Instagram pics from the week, I just have to say one thing. I am SO excited to have the Google+ app on my phone. It instantly updates and links any and all pictures you take on your phone into your photo albums. It makes a blogger's life that much easier and that much more organized!

Monday

After having it for nearly 10 years, my chi broke :( Last week, she wouldn't turn on and wouldn't get hot at all and I was heart-broken. Not that I have super-unmanageable hair, but a girl needs a little help every once in a while to get straight locks. After a week of going to work with semi-curled or my hair up in a pony-tail, Now seriously, I could have gone to Sally's and dropped $100 and would have been done with it, but I am lazy and couldn't bring myself to go all week and KNEW deep down inside I could get a little more time out of it.... I decided to try a little Macgyver action on it. Our friend, Taso, calls my Hubby Macgyver because he always comes up with ways to fix things that seem to not be able to be fixed otherwise. So, anyway, I used scotch-tape and fixed it! I know, I know, duct tape would have made for a better story (that stuff fixes ANYTHING), but I had scotch on hand so that's what I used. Furthermore, just in case you're wondering, I've got straight hair this morning- HOLLA!

 Wednesday

I got this sweet picture of my adorable godchild Wednesday. Dellie asked her mama to "take a picture" and she wanted to send it to "Papa, Lili, Dada and Lucky". Her Mama told her that Lucky didn't have a phone but that she could send it to Lili and I would show it to Lucky. Sha baby. I love her an enormous amount.

 Thursday

We ate supper on the patio last night (we made spaghetti) and then hung up our cypress swing. We hung out  under the patio for a while while we watered our sod. (Please excuse the after-shower-no makeup-hair a mess-Liz), Hubby looks cute though ;)

 Friday

Hubby had to get up early this am (I'm talking 4 am early) to pour a slab. He left me this little note by the coffee pot.
