33 Weeks

How far along: 33 weeks and 2 days

Total weight gain/loss:  2 lbs this week (28 lbs total)

Maternity clothes? Yes, although still wearing some non-maternity though. My dress I wore to my shower this weekend was actually not maternity.

Sleep: I'm still sleeping really good! (VERY thankful for that!) Along with sleeping at night, I've also been taking a couple of naps during the week.

Best moment(s) this week: Going home this weekend! Friday we spent the night with Sarah and Brent and walked for Braxton Saturday morning at the Maddie's Footprints walk. Saturday night we went to the LSU game with Kev and Mama and then Sunday was my baby shower and we took some maternity pictures at the LeJeune house. We had a jam-packed weekend but a wonderful one!

Movement: Still a very active little dude! He tends to move a lot more right before bedtime and in the morning when I'm laying in bed. He also moves around a lot when I am in a sitting position (especially when I sit at my desk at work). I wonder if I squish him up when I sit like that?

Food cravings: Nothing really still although Mama hooks us up with Oh's every time we go home which I thoroughly enjoy! :)

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Not really. Having some minor heartburn when I eat something fatty or fried, but that's about it. 

Gender: Boy!

Symptoms: Having some swelling issues all of a sudden this week. My face a little and my hands and feet for sure! Probably didn't help being on my feet so much this weekend and then driving 4 hours home and back didn't help. Today I was able to wear my rings again with no problem- so weird. Also had some Braxton Hicks contractions for the first time yesterday. I am also having some soreness and tightness in my lower abdomen.

Belly button in or out?  I think it's half and half now. the top is poking out but the bottom is still in- weird. Wish it would just decide one way or another, lol!

Wedding rings on or off? Off, as of Saturday; just all of a sudden they didn't fit. Over the weekend, I could wear my wedding band alone but could not fit both my engagement ring and wedding band on :( I'm back to drinking my tons of water and today my rings fit fine-weird. 

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy. 

Anything new? I found some tiny stretch marks way down low on my belly :( Made me sad at first, but I'm over it now.  I realized all the lotions in the world can only do so much! I will definitely continue to "lube" my belly up daily to see if I can prevent any more from finding their way to my belly. At least they are very low. They will hopefully be less noticeable there....Also on Monday, I felt Trey lower than usual. I started to feel sore in my lower abdomen. I wondered if he was starting to drop and asked Dr. Black about it on my appointment today. (see more info on that below!). 

Looking forward to: Unloading and unpacking all of Trey's things from the weekend!!! Also looking forward to my Tigers whipping up on dem aggies Saturday, and last but not least my baby shower with my girl-friends from work (and those who used to work with us) this Sunday. 

From my appointment with Dr. B today: 
Baby is measuring exactly on track and is a growing boy! My BP was great (115/72) and I am up another 2 lbs. Baby Trey's heart rate was strong at 146. He was kicking the doppler when the nurse was trying to find his heart rate- he tends to do that. I talked to Dr. B about the soreness and tightness in my lower abdomen- she assured me it's completely normal. At my next appointment (in 2 weeks), she will start checking me to check for progress. After my next appointment, I will see her every week until we have a baby! Getting very excited about it all!
