Even though we stayed in Texas for the first time ever at Christmas, we had a wonderful week full of fun and love. I was very homesick since we are never not home for Christmas, but having family here did help some... We really missed seeing the O'Mearas, although they made it a little better by FaceTiming with us at O'Meara family Christmas!
We ate delicious foods, laughed, drank and thanked God for all our blessings.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the past week of Christmas celebrations.
We celebrated with Mama and P on Christmas Eve Eve and of course the little guy got super spoiled with lots of great things!
Hubby showed off his new toy the Bear Claw.
We helped Trey open his gifts and he pretty much slept through all the gift-opening.
These ladies love that lil bebe that is for sure!
My little man and I got some sun Christmas Eve while we waited on the Jacobs' to arrive.
Jutta, Mrs Mildred, Trey, Jamie and Jim
Christmas Eve night we lit the luminaries outside to light Santa's way to our house!
And took a few photos while we enjoyed the luminaries.
They obviously worked because Santa found his way to our house and left quite a haul for a one-month old! He also brought Lucky some goodies. They must have been good boys!
Trey checked out all his goodies before we helped him open everything.
Christmas Day was really nasty outside- rainy and cold. We stayed inside and everyone got some good snuggle-time in with Trey.
Trey's sweet ornament from his MawMaw.
Then we played Cajun Robber. It was fun and we all got some really nice stuff!
A few more photo ops...
...And we wrapped up our Christmas celebration with a little FaceTime with the O'Meara clan!
Here's to a wonderful 2012. I can only imagine how much fun 2013 will be!
Merry Christmas everyone!

Looks like yall had an amazing time! Loved your card, by the way. So adorable.
Christmas in Texas reminded me of when we were children and Boo was stationed in a place where we couldn't come home. You celebrate with your immediate family-your anchor for life and dream of visits with your family in Louisiana. We are so blessed to have a wonderful family! I love you all!
