1 month

1 month. Wow. 

We blinked our eyes and our little man was one month old. I cannot believe how time has flown!

Our little guy has brought us so much joy in such a short amount of time. 

I have never known there was love like this until I laid eyes on my sweet son. 

We have had a wonderful holiday season spending time with and loving on Baby Trey. 

I have about 7 weeks left to stay home with Trey, for which I am very grateful. 

Little man's day usually consists of waking up sometime between 4-6 am to eat once during the night. He goes right back to sleep and wakes up between 7-9 am and we start our day. Trey is usually awake for 30-45 minutes after he eats, then he goes back down for another nap between feedings. This is when Mommy can get things done around the house (you know, like blogging!) :) Now that things have slowed down and our company is gone, we are going to start working on a bedtime routine. Right now, we get Trey's PJ's on and we have lotion time between 9-10 pm and he nurses once more around 10:30 pm then goes to sleep before waking up between 4-6 am and starting his day over again! One day before his one month birthday, he slept 6.5 hours at night!

So far he is such an easy baby. He just has the best little temperament, usually happy as a little clam unless he needs a new diaper or needs to eat.

Oh and he occasionally can be seen sucking his thumb. Mommy isn't sure how she feels about that!

I am becoming a spit-up catching, fingernail clipping, peepee dodging, multi-tasking Mommy ninja and I am loving every minute of it!

We just feel so blessed to have the chance to raise this healthy beautiful baby and can't wait to learn more and more about him everyday!
