Weekend Wrap Up

This is actually a wrap up of two weekends ago, but it was just such a fun weekend, I felt like I needed to share it!

Our weekend was fabulous for a few reasons but mainly because Daddy was off all weekend and we had two whole days with him all to ourselves!

We actually had almost three whole days with him as Sadie was sick with a tummy bug on Friday so we kept Trey home. Jim and I each took off a half day to stay home with the little man. Jim sent me this photo of where he found Trey.... wow... Didn't know whether to be impressed or scared...

Saturday morning, we woke up lazy and had coffee in our pj's then Trey and I ran some errands around town before meeting up with Daddy at McAlisters for lunch. We went to Toys R Us to get a gift for Reed's party and Trey insisted on riding the horse on our way out- he loved it!

Around 4, we headed to the Bonvillians for a fish fry. Trey fell asleep in the car on the way, so we laid him down when we got there and he slept about an hour.

The kids had so much fun playing in the bouncy house. Trey cried when we made him get out to take a break.

Sunday, we went to an egg hunt at the Sports Plex in League City. We heard later that there were 15,000 eggs hidden and over 1,000 participants!

Before the hunt, the Easter Bunny walked around and visited with all the kids. Trey really liked him from a distance, but was not so thrilled with him when he got close.

The kids were very antsy to get down and get the eggs before it was time to go...

Once the hunt began, Trey knew exactly what to do! He took off after the eggs and started putting them in his basket.

He didn't end up with a ton of eggs but got about 5-6.

He was SO proud of himself. It was adorable!

Of course we had to get in a little photo op before going through his eggs to see what he got.

Daddy helped Trey go through all his eggs. He really liked seeing what was in each one.

After the egg hunt, we headed to Jumping Jungle for Reed's birthday party. Trey really liked the big slide, but couldn't quite get up there by himself. We had to keep climbing up with him over and over, but he loved it.

This slide was definitely the kids' favorite!

Trey slid down on Hallee's lap over and over again. He LOVED it and was such a little daredevil!

Trey really liked exploring everything :)

The daddy's kept a close watch on everything going on...

Trey looked like such a big boy sitting with all the other kids.

...and promptly passed out in the car on the way home holding on to a toy from the party.

It was SUCH a fun weekend, we really didn't want it to end. Good thing we had a really fun weekend coming up for Easter weekend to look forward to!
