Dinos Alive at Moody Gardens

Wesley went on his first fun outing at only 2 weeks old to the Dino Alive exhibit at Moody Gardens. We had really wanted to take Trey to the Dino exhibit at NRG Stadium before Wesley was born but we just didn't get around to it. 

When we found out there was a Dino exhibit at Moody Gardens all summer long, we knew Trey would love it and knew we had to go!

The dinos were SO cool. A lot of them were animated and also had sound too.

Trey's favorite dinosaur is T-Rex so needless to say he was very excited to see the huge T-Rex! There was also a baby T-Rex as well that was super cute.

My favorite is the Triceratops and Trey agreed to take a selfie with me in front of it. He thinks I'm silly but I was really liking to look scared in front of the dinos, hehe!

Trey also likes the Parasaurolophus (try saying that three times fast!)

After the exhibit, there was a little area where the kids could dig for bones and look at fossils on the way to the gift shop. 

This little turkey picked out a T-Rex as his sussie from our trip. Of course he picked out a $30 Stegosaurus and we had to convince him to pick out a little cheaper dino :)

"RAWWWWWRRR!"

We took a little snack break outside of the exhibit and I fed Wesley as well and let him cool off and get out of the stroller for a bit. Of course Trey picked out his onesie to wear (dinos) hehe.

We were planning on going to eat lunch somewhere when we looked back and saw Trey was completely passed out in the backseat. 

It was safe to say that he had a great time and when we got home he was already begging for us to take us back...which spoiler alert, we did later in the summer!! :)
