After Wesley was born, Jim went back to work and all her buggy germs were gone, GG came back to visit and help with Wesley and spent a whole week with us- we were pretty much in heaven.
This summer, Trey's school (being as wonderful as they are) let us keep him home whenever we wanted to and we only paid for the days we sent him. Since I was home on maternity leave all summer, we kept him home quite a bit. It was nice because we got to do a lot of things during the week and it was a lot less crowded than it would have otherwise been.
The first thing Trey wanted to do was to take GG to Moody Gardens to the Dino Exhibit :) He really loved walking around and showing her all the dinos but he ran through the exhibit pretty quickly to get out to the gift shop for her to get him a sussie.
After the quick spin through the dinos, we headed over to the Aquarium. None of us had ever been to the Aquarium Pyramid and it did not disappoint.
The seal water was quite murky but they were HUGE and amazing looking when they swam by the glass.
Wesley just hung out in the stroller while we enjoyed the exhibits :)
These cute guys are called sea dragons (if I'm not mistaken) and were adorable!
Trey was starting to get crazy because he was hungry and Wes was getting hungry as well so we took a little lunch break in the cafe for us all to eat.
This picture is so blurry but so cute I couldn't help but post it :)
I'm pretty sure Trey thinks we are super weirdos, but we sure had fun!
We found a tank he could get right up close to and Trey could have stayed here all day looking at all the fish swim by. A lot of the fish were fish from Nemo as well which he thought was pretty cool.
After he ate lunch, Trey was feeling much better and we headed back to the Dinos to see them one more time before we went home.
Check out the size difference between Trey and his favorite dino, the T-Rex!
This was SUPER cool. We swam with sharks!!!
After our fun week, GG and Trey loaded up their suitcases to head home to Louisiana for a week. Trey was up SO early and ready to go that they got on the road a little after 8. Stay tuned for a run down of all his adventures he had back home coming up shortly :)
