When we were pregnant with Wesley, our friends were dying to throw us a shower to celebrate our sweet baby. We talked and talked about it and decided that it would be better to wait until the baby was born and then have a sip and see party for everyone to meet him or her.
Our hostesses were Pee, Mama, Les, Danielle and Sara. They threw us an amazing "Woodlands" theme party for our friends and family to meet our sweet boy. It was SO precious. They did a great job with the decorations and the food was equally great.
Mr. Randy cut the wood they used for the candle holders and stands. It was SO precious. They used beautiful flowers, pine cones and cotton to complete the woodlands look.
How cute was this precious cake table and diaper cake on the wooden stand?! I was so in love with all the decorations.
They even had the sweetest idea for the sign-in table complete with a book for everyone to sign and hand sanitizer to help keep Wesley clean :)
I mean, check out this mantle...LOVE!
We got a little family photo before the festivities started and also before Trey got in the pool as we knew it would be hard to get him to come out!
Everyone took turns loving on sweet Wesley during the party!
The kids had a great time swimming and the adults had fun visiting.
A crop duster plane kept flying overhead and we were waving and screaming like fools every time it passed. Dan joked that she rented it for our party! :)
Then there was this guy.... lol
Wesley had it made in the shade as he relaxed throughout his party.
The boys found a "tock" bug and Pee had fun explaining what it was to them.
Wes got a little hot so we took him inside to take a little break.
The night ended with fun sparklers and fireworks left over from the 4th of July.
And of course a little night swimming :)
We feel so blessed to have these friends in Texas who feel just like family to us. We are so thankful they threw us this sweet party and we had so much fun introducing our little man to everyone!
