We had a laid back but perfect little Thanksgiving Day. We normally get together with the Tolers every year but they were sick so instead of us sharing germs, we decided to drop off and switch foods without much interaction.
We woke up and had a laid back morning with a little breakfast and napping.
Pee brought us a whole box full of good ole Louisiana sweet potatoes which were SOOOO yummy!
We split up all the dishes to make and we ended up doing the ham, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, spinach and rolls. Les did the turkey, green beans and dessert.
Wesley burger enjoyed his first Turkey Day, although he could not really participate in the eating...yet!
Trey fell asleep super early so we didn't even get a family picture of the four of us on Thanksgiving... :(
Once Wesley went to bed, we had more wine and stayed up way too late talking and visiting, but it sure was fun!
Here's to yet another happy thanksgiving celebrated at our home, spent with some of those we love the most! We have so much to be thankful for so we went to sleep counting our many MANY blessings!
