Trey 3 years

Growth Stats:
36 lb and 40 inches tall

Hair/Eyes:
His eyes are green "like GG" he says. He is still not a huge fan of haircuts but he sure is cute with it cut all short and cleaned up well.

Nicknames:
Bubba, Bud

What He's Wearing:
4-5T clothes and Size 10-10.5 shoes

Sleep Habits:
Bedtime is around 8:30-9pm and he is (unfortunately) an early riser...Usually around 6am but he sometimes goes back to sleep until after 7.

Some nights he wants to rock, some nights we lay with him and other nights he just asks to be tucked in his bed. We don't mind any of the above since we know he won't be wanting us to do this much longer.

Some nights he wakes up in the middle of the night and asks for a cup of milk and wants to snuggle with daddy.

He is still a great napper (as I knock on wood). He takes 2 hour naps at school and 2-3 hour naps at home. Some days he doesn't nap and on those days his bedtime is usually around 7pm which is nice.

What He Eats:

Trey still loves his "drink" (carnation instant breakfast and milk) and drinks this daily.

He is still quite a picky eater but his favorite foods include: ALL sweets and snack foods, pasta, apple sauce, yogurt, muffins, and chicken nuggets.

He is most definitely a snacker like his mama...sometimes sleep gets the best of him though.

He loves most fruit, especially some good ole Louisiana satsumas!

Daily Routine:
Nothing has really changed here. Our little schedule has been pretty consistent and has worked out well for us.

Our evening routine still consists of a bath, teeth brushing (when he wants to cooperate and we actually remember- we usually brush teeth at random times throughout the day haha!), pj's and then sippy of milk before bed.

Personality:

Terrible twos were bad and we thought three was going to be just as bad, but we are finding out three is better because you can actually reason with a three year old.

I am not saying Trey doesn't still have fits when he doesn't get his way, but they are much less and far and few between. The fits he has now are usually due to him being overtired or hungry and we can usually reason with him as to why he is upset so he snaps out of them fairly quickly.

He is still EXTREMELY particular; wants to dictate everything from what he eats, wears to what color cup he drinks out of.

He still loves to help whether it be doing chores like cleaning or laundry or helping Daddy with projects and building things.

He has the SWEETEST smile and great belly laugh.

He is extremely creative and loves arts and crafts. He also has an amazing imagination and is always coming up with funny little make believe stories and games.

Milestones:

Trey can recognize most letters and can write his name along with many other letters. He knows a lot of letter sounds as well.

He is now such a big boy at the doctor's office and lets Dr. Pocsik check him out without crying. He has also been to the dentist and let Dr. Ellis brush his teeth.

What Trey says:
Oh geez, way too much to put here. He speaks in full sentences and paragraphs and never stops talking!

He has excellent manners and says please and thank you and bless you when someone sneezes. We are working on "sir" and "ma'am" and he is doing really well with them. We still have to remind him at times but he is catching on pretty well.

What Trey Loves:

Dinosaurs.

Anything with wheels.

Not wearing pants. Ever.

Giving hugs and kisses.

Being outside.

His pillow.

HIS BROTHER!!

His Daddy (his best friend) He can often be heard asking us "are you my best friend?"

Dance parties.

Animals.

School.

Shopping and running errands with Mama.

Anything New:

He is THE most amazing big brother to baby Wesley. He is always very concerned about Wesley and what he is doing and is always up for helping us take care of him or be our little helper.

He is funny, hard headed, SMART, always in his underwear. He has a quick temper, a big heart and a huge squinty-eyed smile. He loves chicken nuggets and dinosaurs. He is all boy. He is ours. "Three" is 3!
