Memorial Day Weekend 2015

We had a great Memorial Day weekend and are so thankful to those who have served and given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 

We had a lot of fun hanging out with our besties and Trey and Hayes especially had fun playing together!

Sunday, The Derouens had us over to grill and to swim. Love how Dan always pulls out the trains for these two boys to play with. She knows what they like for sure!

Baby Hayes is such a sweet little boy. Love him so much.

The kiddos spent much of their time in the hot tub and even Hayes got in on the action!

The big kids (and non-preggo adults) took spins in the kayak, paddle board and boat and even went tubing in the lake!

Troy took off on the paddle board and Sara was determined to have a sunset picture on her paddle board so Jim volunteered to bring her out to him. We ended up getting a great picture of the two of them...then they flipped the kayak and lost the seat..OOPS!!

Jim and Troy made it back safely after the flip, but it looks like Troy got the better end of this deal for sure!

The boys ended their night snuggling inside and playing their electronics. We didn't end up getting home until close to midnight but had so much fun and Trey had an absolute blast!

Monday, we braved Wal-Mart (why? I really cannot remember) and Trey was so tired he passed out like this on Jim's shoulder.

After his nap, we played and played and played outside. Trey had fun playing in his undies with his new sprinkler.

We also installed his steering wheel and telescope that GG bought him for his swing set.

We had a great weekend. It's always weekends like this that make me appreciate our friends and family and our little life so much. Love fun times at home!
