Quinn's 3rd Birthday

On Quinn's actual birthday, May 2nd, we headed down to Galveston to visit the Railroad Museum. Les had been wanting to take Quinn forever and she figured this was the perfect opportunity to take him. Both he and Trey LOVE trains and I really think this was a great age because they were SO into everything at the museum.

These two little guys are two peas in a pod.

One of the first parts of the museum was a big model train lit up so the lights turned off so you could see the whole town and train. It was pretty cool.

Baby Hayes thought it was cool but he quickly got over it and wanted OUT of the stroller.

They still have the train station/depot all set up so that was pretty cool to see.

Look at poor sis with all these guys. Sure do hope we have another girl to add to this mix soon!

They thought these phones were super cool!

Trey said he was calling his GG.

We stopped in the little gift shop and let them each pick out a train. That was pretty much the best idea ever. The boys seriously played with theirs all. day. long. never. put. them. down.

At 12 we took a ride on a real train. It was cool but Trey was scared and did not like it.

Hayes was also scared each time the whistle blew, but it was pretty loud.

Us and the birthday boy!

Along the tracks they had all these old trains set up that you could walk through. It was super cool. I think this particular one was a mail train.

I decided it was a good spot to take my "bump pic" for the week in front of one of the cool trains!

By the time we were getting finished up there the boys were tired and were sort of over taking pictures.

See what I mean. Done!

This little guy was a trooper (as usual) and just hung out in his stroller for much of the day.

Even though the day was mostly for the boys, Dellie was a good sport and had a lot of fun herself.

A few more stops in a couple trains and we left the museum to head to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch!

The DeRouen's met us for lunch and we had so much fun!

Quinn got the lava cake for his birthday and we all sang happy birthday to him.

Nanny had also brought a little cake and cupcakes with her that the kiddos (especially Trey) enjoyed!

This dude was SO tired!

The kids found out about the boat ride and convinced the daddies to take them on a ride before we left.

I love Jim's attempt at a selfie on the ride. Despite the grump face, Trey loved it and cried when it was over.

Baby Hayes had just about had it by then too and passed out snuggling with Dan.

That night, Trey was STILL playing with his train toy and actually fell asleep with it!

We had a GREAT weekend celebrating Quinn and I cannot believe that sweet boy is already 3! I feel like it was only yesterday he was born!
