15 Weeks

How far along: 15 weeks and 2 days

Total weight gain/loss: ~2 lb this week (6 lbs total)

Maternity clothes? I bought some more clothes from ON online and they were delivered today. I also bought a maxi dress and cute gold shirt for football season from Motherhood Maternity (pics below!). I also got two tunic sweaters from H&M and got TONS of compliments on the one I wore today. I am however, still able to wear my pre-pregnancy pants, but have been enjoying the comfy new maternity clothes from time to time.

Sleep: Still sleeping good but my hips are getting more sore during the night, even with the pregnancy pillow. I do however wake up between 1-5am for a potty break EVERY night. Guess the middle-of-the-night fun has just begun...

Best moment(s) this week: Oh lots again! Got a fun new EF 75-300mm lens to play with... One of my doc friends at work let me borrow it :) Also, feeling more and more little flutters around in there. Other hilights were visiting with the Jacobs and getting a lil sun on Saturday and shopping with Hubby, Angel and the girls at the mall. Got an adorably-cute maxi dress to wear to Adam and Angela's wedding in Miami in September and one to wear for Kevin and Amber's wedding in July- yay!!!

Movement:  The little flutters I felt weeks ago have been back off and on and I have also felt a sort of "thumping" or "plucking" feeling that has happened once or twice. Nothing definitive yet, but can't wait for that.

Food cravings: Nothing really. Still on a sweets kick, but I was that way pre-pregnancy so...I can only blame so much of that on the baby ;)

Anything making you queasy or sick: Raw chicken now more than other meats, but thats about it.

Gender: Less than 5 more weeks to go until we find out if Baby J is a HE or a SHE. Most people think Baby J is a boy. This makes me think the baby is a boy too, but we shall see...

Symptoms: The tummy itching has calmed down a bit this week (thank goodness!!!!!) I still have killer acne on my face and now some on my chest as well. :(

Happy or moody most of the time? Still happy but definitely way more emotional than I used to be for sure.

Anything new? Besides the slight flutters and such my belly has been sore lately. I sometimes forget it's there and try to get up quickly or sneeze or cough and feel like I have pulled a muscle- ouch! I know this is only going to get worse so I better get used to it...

Looking forward to: Sadly, didn't get around to working on the changing table last week. :( Looking forward to that this week (hopefully!. Also looking forward to starting on the chair rail, beadboard, and painting the nursery. We have narrowed our paint choices down to 2, yay!

According to Baby Center:
Baby J now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces. His or her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and he or she can move all of her joints and limbs. He or she can now sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, Baby J is likely to move away from the beam! Cool!
