How far along: 24 weeks and 2 days
Total weight gain/loss: No gain again this week, surprisingly! (17 lbs total) but lil man sure is growing! I guess my weight is re-distributing itself, lol!
Maternity clothes? Absolutely. Best decision I've ever made (well, maybe not the best, but close to it!)
Sleep: Sleep has been wonderful! I am so tired when I get in bed, I just crash. I'm thankful the lil guy isn't big enough to keep me awake at nighttime yet! :)
Best moment(s) this week: Let's see...we were very productive in baby-related-news this week, so that's always a good thing...We did our baby registry (thanks to Les and Katherine for the AWESOME lists and tips!!! Y'all saved me TONS of time). We also ordered Trey's crib (yay!). Hubby moved the furniture out of the nursery, taped it off and painted it while I was working on Sunday- thank God for that man! :)
Movement: OH YES! Actually, our A/C broke on Friday (our house was 90+ degrees inside when Jim got home from work!) We spent Friday and Saturday night with the Tolers so we could stay cool. I was holding Dellie and Trey was moving around. I asked her if she wanted to feel the baby and she said "yes" as soon as she put her little hand on my belly he moved and she said "I feel him!" She was so sure of it....it was adorable! Today, I felt the lil guy move an inch or two ABOVE my belly button. Before now, he was always waaaayyy down below. I read on babycenter that my uterus is the size of a soccer ball, so that must mean he has a lot more room to move around!
Food cravings: Still can't say I have really "craved" anything yet, but I mostly want sweet snacks.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope. Thank goodness!
Gender: BOYEE!!
Symptoms: Certain things have become more difficult- like shaving my legs, putting on my shoes, bending straight down and getting up from laying down in a flat position but overall, things are good. Also having almost constant back pain (maybe my center of gravity is changing?!) but sleeping on the heating pad always helps!
Belly button in or out? In but flattening out more and more by the day...
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time? HAPPY!!
Anything new? Kicks are getting stronger and stronger. I feel him kicking around all day long, opposed to only at night a few weeks ago. I'm LOVING this!
Looking forward to: Mixed emotions about the coming week- excited about the impending birth of my nephew Braxton and seeing our family, but extremely saddened and anxious about his predicted outcome.... At this point, we will all continue to pray for a miracle, but it's truly in God's hands...
Exercise this week: Mainly tried to take the stairs up and down at work each day. It's a great workout to do calf-raises when you're taking the stairs. I could really feel it after a few days of this. No cardio this week...wahhh.
According to Baby Center: Baby now weighs over a pound and is the length of an ear of corn (almost a foot long!)
