Baby Braxton Update

I know many of you have been praying for the Bergeron family for the past few months. I feel as if an update on their situation is needed for those of you who have sent up countless prayers for their precious unborn Braxton.

They have been extremely brave during this difficult time and their time is most likely about to become even harder.

Just wanted to give you all an update that Sarah is scheduled tomorrow morning for a c-section to deliver baby Braxton. At this point, the doctors are still thinking the outcome will not be good, but we continue to pray daily for a miracle and put it all in God's hands.

We happened to be home last weekend and went by my dad's grave to say a little prayer. We put one of Braxton's bracelets on his grave.

He and Braxton's mommy had a very special connection. When he passed she traced her hand in glue and put glitter all over it. She and her family paid a visit to his grave and she placed her little glitter hand print there for her Uncle Mike Bro. I guess the paper flipped over or got rained on but somehow the hand print got transferred to his grave. It was very clear on his grave for a very long time and 30+ years later if you look close, you can still see her little glittery hand print in the corner.

You may have noticed the blue bracelet that appears in many photos seen on my blog. This is the Braxton bracelet that family and friends have worn to not only support the Bergeron family but to serve as a reminder to us to pray daily for little Braxton.

If Braxton's doctors are correct, he will not have very long with his parents after he is born. I admire their strength to give this precious little one a chance at life but my heart aches for them daily.

Friday, Sarah and Brent will be surrounded by family and friends but I know their difficult journey is just beginning...

If you don't know about their journey thus far, please check it out HERE.
The O'Meara and Bergeron families are asking everyone to please stop at 7 am Friday morning and say a little prayer. Your continued thoughts and prayers are most appreciated!

My heart will be with them as they hold their son in their loving arms Friday morning. The room will be filled with love and our family of angels will be waiting if God needs Braxton with Him in heaven.

Thanks to my mama for clarifying... I am not quite 30 so it hasn't been 30+ years since Sarah's handprint... Oops :)
