** SORRY for no chalkboard picture this week!! We both worked Saturday and also worked hard in the lil man's room this weekend and honestly just didn't feel like doing it once Sunday rolled around! :) I promise we will do one next week.**
Total weight gain/loss: 2 lb this week (17 lbs total) WHOA!!
Maternity clothes? Oh yes! I definitely do NOT have any maternity pants I have tried thus far that just have the stretchy waist-band. They are SO uncomfortable and make you seem to have a muffin top even with your baby belly- they're terrible! I LOVE full panel pants. They provide lots of support and are so darn comfortable, even with standing and sitting all day, your pants stay where they should. The only downfall is that they are sort of hot during the summer.
Sleep: LOVING this awesome sleep. The last few weeks I have been sleeping through the night without any bathroom interruptions :)
Best moment(s) this week: Thursday night Baby J was moving around so much I could feel him from the outside. I laid down and Jim just sat with his hand on my belly and Baby J let out a big ole kick for his daddy! He looked at me and said "whoa!", I said yeah that was definitely the baby! Since then, we have felt him move from the outside every day and Sunday, I could actually SEE my tummy move every time he would kick! My sissy tells me it only gets better from here!
Movement: Feeling more of a pulling feeling than fluttering feeling now and bigger and bigger kicks! Baby always tends to kick in the same spot, it is funny! At our last ultrasound, the technician told us his head was down and I can pretty much bet that his legs are on the left side because that is where I always feel him moving around. Baby J ALWAYS moves a lot after I eat. I love it!
Food cravings: Still craving sweets more than anything else.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope! I even cooked chicken a couple nights ago and had no problem eating it for supper and even leftovers. That is a HUGE step for me! :)
Gender: BOY!
Symptoms: A little heartburn here and there. My hips are also starting to spread a bit- oh joy. I tried on a pair of scrub pants one morning that will need to be retired soon. Crazy how things just happen all of a sudden. I sure do hope they go back to normal after this baby comes.
Belly button in or out? In. It is getting more and more flat, however... I think I may eventually have an outie. :(
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time? HAPPY!!
Anything new? We have had quite a busy week! We have the nursery wall colors picked out. I went shopping on Thursday and bought a lamp and some accessories for the lil guy's room. After work Friday, I also got his shelf/storage unit for above the changing table. It is coming along! Shopping for a little boy is WAY more fun than I thought it would be. Saturday we sanded down more of the changing table and bought the paint for his room. We also have a crib picked out and just have to order it. I also had a stranger for the first time notice I was pregnant and ask if I was shopping for baby chairs (I was in an antique store). It was fun to have someone comment on my growing belly! :) My belly has also become a hand-magnet. Thank goodness it is only people that I know at work. Strangers have not been brave enough to touch yet (but I have heard that WILL happen). Some people have no sense of personal boundaries...
Looking forward to: Us being able to feel the lil man move more and more now.
Exercise this week: HAH! None. Will get back on track this week. (wait, didn't I say the same thing last week?!?!)
Some of what I wore last week: (People have asked where I get my maternity clothes, so I try to include that too)

| And NO, my belly didn't grow exponentially this week- this shirt just makes it look larger than it is! Haha. I just loved this outfit, so had to share :) Anyway, Shirt, Target non-maternity chambray tunic with belt and Khaki slacks: ON Maternity |
According to Baby Center: Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound (Hah! our Baby weighed this over a week ago...so I'm guessing Baby J is closer to weighing a pound now!) and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like he's practicing martial arts as his initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to his activity as you get to know him better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now.
